³² They also ^(A)provoked Him to wrath at the waters of ^[a]Meribah,
So that it ^(B)went hard with Moses on their account;
³³ Because they ^(C)were rebellious against ^[b]His Spirit,
He spoke rashly with his lips.

³⁴ They ^(D)did not destroy the peoples,
As ^(E)the Lord commanded them,
